Ikea is recalling some of its portable battery chargers Warm front after discovering a manufacturing defect that poses an increased fire safety risk. Ikea does not state how they discovered the error. According to Ikea, the error is isolated to Varmfront models with specific date stamps.
For the Varmfront chargers with a capacity of 10,400 mAh, products with date stamps 2313, 2316, 2318 or 2319 apply. For the Varmfront chargers with a capacity of 5,200 mAh, products with date stamps 2318, 2319 or 2322 are affected.
If you own a Varmfront with one of the aforementioned date stamps, Ikea urges you to stop using it and contact the company. You can return your charger to any Ikea store and you can either receive a replacement product or a full refund. Receipt is not necessary.
