(Health Korea News / Yu Ji-in) Ildong Bioscience participated in ‘Vitafoods Asia’ to promote its functional materials and explore business opportunities.
‘Vitafood Asia’ is the largest healthcare food exhibition in the Asia Pacific region, and this event was held in Bangkok, Thailand from the 18th to the 20th.
During the event, Ildong Bioscience highlighted its competitiveness in the probiotics and postbiotics fields, including the company’s numerous functional materials and quadruple coating processing technology.
During the event program, we participated in a separate seminar organized by the Korea Health Functional Food Association, where we introduced differentiated postbiotics materials including ‘RHT3201’, a functional raw material related to skin immunity.
Along with promotional activities, Ildong Bioscience also focused on finding partners for local business partnerships and market expansion, and held partnering meetings with various companies.
Since 2022, Ildong Bioscience has been supplying probiotic raw materials and semi-finished products in partnership with a Thai healthcare product distributor, and is currently seeking to expand its business to include finished product supply and ODM (Original Design Manufacturing).
An official from Ildong Bioscience said, “We plan to develop products suitable for the local market and diversify our marketing by utilizing the functional probiotics and postbiotics that the company owns, including around 20 types of US GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) certified raw materials.”
Ildong Bioscience is a health functional food company established as an affiliate of Ildong Holdings in 2016 through a corporate spin-off based on Ildong Pharmaceutical’s original technology and infrastructure related to lactic acid bacteria. It is currently engaged in the development of functional materials and products utilizing probiotics, OEM and ODM, and raw material supply businesses.
