Google is not wasting time and is offering further integrations using Gemini. This time for some of the most popular products in their portfolio: Gmail and Google Calendar.
Gmail is the primary mailbox for many of us. A tool we use every day – and for good reason. Google has done a great job, it’s email you can trust, and its spam filters are second to none.
Perfect integration with other Google tools is also important. And those that many of us use every day. Among them, the most popular is undoubtedly the Calendar, which is perfect in its simplicity. And now it has even better integration with Gmail thanks to the support of Gemini.
Gmail and Calendar integration also using Gemini
Google officially announcedthat the list of applications offering integration with Gemini has expanded to include another important product: Google Calendar. From now on, users can use artificial intelligence algorithms directly from Gmail to:
- Check when is my (first event) next week?
- Create a (30-minute) calendar event for my weekly (yoga class) every (Monday and Wednesday) at (9am).
- Create a (1-hour) event for (lunch) (tomorrow) at (noon).
Of course, these are just examples and a start-up of functions within Gmail. You can expect that over time, the options and integration between Gmail and Google Calendar will increase.
New options are coming to users now — and the first Gemini fans will benefit from this integration today. The rest of us need to be a little patient, because as usual, implementing new products can take the platform up to several weeks. Unfortunately, the sad news is that at the moment the option can only be used in English.
