DAPURPACUID – The most magnificent four-wheeled vehicle modification event in the country, the Indonesia Modification & Lifestyle Expo (IMX) 2024, is just a few days away from its implementation.
The event, which combines an automotive exhibition and lifestyle expo, blends beautifully with international-scale car modifications, will be held at Hall 9-10 ICE BSD, 4-6 October 2024.
This year, IMX is scheduled to be present on a larger and more international scale, so it is ready to pamper automotive lovers with various innovations and interesting surprises.
With the title ‘Road to The World’, IMX 2024 has a ‘big event’, namely bringing the modification works of the nation’s children not only to the domestic market, but also to the international public sphere.
On the other hand, this event is also believed to be a forum for local automotive industry players to collaborate and create new trends in the world of modification.
IMI Chairman Bambang Soesatyo said that Indonesia has an industry rich in creativity and innovation, which continues to show significant progress in various sectors, including the automotive and lifestyle worlds.
“IMX 2024 is not just an exhibition, but a platform that facilitates industry players, fans and the public to exchange ideas, innovate, and create new trends that will advance our industry,” he added on the sidelines of a media meeting in the SCBD area, Jakarta, Tuesday.
IMX 2024 is present on a larger and more global scale, as evidenced by the fact that this event will be used as a venue to launch the best global automotive products.
The global products are such as LBWK (Japan), Tarmac (Hong Kong), Anshi (Shanghai), Vertex (Japan), Osaka Auto Messer (Japan), Kuhl Racing (Japan), Musa Art (America) and DK Keiichi Tsuchiya (Japan).
Thus, it can be said that the IMX modification event has become a momentum for local and international modification industry players to showcase their superior products.
IMX Project Director, Andre Mulyadi admitted that throughout the IMX event until now, it has become a strategic collaboration event for Indonesian automotive industry players with global partners, as well as strengthening Indonesia’s role in the global vehicle modification industry.
Andre added that various latest innovations in the world of modification are promised to be exhibited at IMX 2024, ranging from unique and creative modified cars, to the latest technology that can be applied to vehicles.
Not only that, visitors will also be pampered with the presence of various aftermarket products, accessories, and other modification equipment.
“We are proud that IMX 2024 has now become the largest international automotive and lifestyle event, not only in Indonesia but this year it is the largest in Southeast Asia,” explained Andre.
Regarding the event items presented, IMX will present various superior programs that attract the interest of visitors. Including an appreciation event for Indonesian builders, IMX Ultimate Builder.
IMX 2024 ticket holders will also get additional benefits, namely enjoying exciting action at the IMX Burnyard & Drift Area, a collaboration with the Indonesia Drift Series.
There is also the IMX Lifestyle Area, Diecast booth, and technological innovations in the IMX Tech Area, which collaborates with B4T (Center for Engineering Materials and Goods).
Also enlivening IMX 2024 is modification content between YouTubers with this year’s theme ‘JDM War’, which will feature several cars with cool modifications.
One of the biggest surprises was the presence of the Super Mamego AE86 owned by drifting legend Keiichi Tsuchiya. This iconic car is coming out of Japan for the first time and is being exhibited in Indonesia.
