In 2025, spending on national defense from the Russian budget will increase to 13.5 trillion rubles. In 2026, the figure will be at the level of 12.8 trillion rubles, in 2027 – 13 trillion, it follows from text of the draft budget.
On September 30, the draft budget was submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers to the State Duma. Budget revenues for the next three years will amount to 125.3 trillion rubles – 40.3 trillion, 41.8 trillion and 43.2 trillion rubles.
At the same time, expenses for 2025–2027 are planned in the amount of 131.4 trillion rubles – 41.5 trillion, 44 trillion and, respectively, 45.9 trillion rubles. In 2025, the deficit is expected to reach 1.2 trillion rubles. In 2026 – 2.2 trillion rubles, in 2027 – 2.7 trillion rubles.
In addition, significant funding is planned for projects in the field of strengthening technological sovereignty and national security (within the framework of national projects).
