In Kamyshlov, 60 families moved from emergency housing to a new building

New settlers – 142 residents of the Kamyshlovsky urban district and Zarechensky rural settlement. Lyudmila Babushkina congratulated them on the long-awaited event and presented them with the keys to 60 apartments in a new building built under the national project “Housing and Urban Environment” and a targeted regional program. The Kamyshlovsky urban district has been participating in the program for relocating citizens from emergency and dilapidated buildings since 2011. This has made it possible over the past years to build 43 thousand square meters of housing in the municipality and resettle three thousand people into comfortable conditions. Among them are 65 families who received new apartments just this summer. The keys were also handed over to the new residents by the speaker of the regional parliament.

“There are fewer and fewer unsafe and dilapidated houses left in the region. And work aimed at ensuring that Urals residents live in comfortable conditions will continue. Thus, in the draft budget for 2025 and the planning period, which my colleagues and I are preparing to consider in the second reading, there is a large attention is paid to the construction of housing and the resettlement of citizens from dilapidated houses and such important areas as gasification, updating of housing and communal infrastructure,” said Lyudmila Babushkina.

She clarified that in the Kamyshlovsky urban district it is planned to build another 12 thousand square meters of housing and distribute them. Thus, all citizens in need of relocation will be provided with new apartments.

During the working trip, the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region held several meetings and presented party cards to 13 new members of the All-Russian political party. Lyudmila Babushkina noted: “The number of members is growing – this means that compatriots trust the party, they see real things. Today, indeed, a lot in the country and region is being done on national projects, within the framework of the Decade of Childhood, to improve infrastructure in cities, to support citizens, first of all families with children. Positive changes are taking place in many areas, and this trend will continue.”
