Moscow City Heritage reportsthat they will have to dismantle the wooden structures of emergency sections of floors and partitions, and, if necessary, mark and store valuable elements. In parallel, the development of a project for the restoration and adaptation of the complex will continue. Experts will begin its implementation once the city approves the documentation.

Earlier, Rodina wrote that, apparently, a premium hotel will be built in the building of the former plant of the former main newspaper of the country.

For almost 20 years, the former plant of the Pravda newspaper has been in disrepair. There was a fire here in 2006 and most of the premises have not been used since then.

The object changed several owners, was put up for auction and at the beginning of 2024 received a new owner who announced his intention to restore it.

The plant of the newspaper “Pravda” was built in 1935 in the constructivist style according to the design of Panteleimon Golosov and since the late 1980s it has officially been an architectural monument and is under state protection.
