In Occitanie, the SME VTI quadruples its production capacity for ventilation solutions

Based in Frontignan, in Hérault, the specialist in ventilation solutions VTI (Ventilation Technicité Innovation) will put into service “end of October, beginning of November» according to general manager Patrick Fraisse, its second factory, located on 6,000 m² of land in the Barnier business zone, close to the headquarters and its first factory.

To build and equip two buildings with a total of 2,500 m², the SME with 50 employees injected more than 5 million euros into real estate and machine tools, with a subsidy from the European Feder fund of 100,000 euros. “The combined punch-laser machine alone is worth 1.5 million euros», notes Patrick Fraisse.

«We are quadrupling our production capacity»

VTI bought a site at the end of 2022, then completely restructured it: one of the two buildings (covered with photovoltaic panels) houses production, the other is dedicated to the logistics, shipping and storage department. “With this new site, we are quadrupling our production capacity», Books Patrick Fraisse. VTI, which deploys a range of around thirty solutions, produces around 10,000 extractors per year.

The family SME boasts 100% French design and manufacturing, 20 European patents, a thousand installation partners. It employs around fifty employees, including 35 in Frontignan, and also uses subcontractors. “We have been growing for years», Says the manager. After 16.5 million euros in turnover in 2023, VTI expects an increase of 15% in 2024, the same in 2025.

New product launched in 2024 after three years of research and development: a first high-pressure VMC solution, called Supair’Vent, certified and patented. It aims for the energy renovation of buildings built after 1982 and equipped with galvanized steel ducts, like old buildings built until the beginning of the 20th century. “It is also a solution for raising buildings“, adds the manager, who hopes to sell some “a thousand by 2026».

Already released in two formats, the new high pressure VMC will be expanded in March 2025 with two additional flow rates then variations for terraces, roofs and attics. Faced with good prospects, the workforce “is continuously growing», assures Patrick Fraisse. VTI is currently looking for two digital control machine operators, a production operator and several prescription managers.
