The typically well-informed user X goes by the name Hoang Anh Phu recent post AMD will announce its new products for this year on October 10. Among other things, the Ryzen AI 300 series will receive a professional, business version based on the already available, tested by us, codenamed Strix Point development, a couple of Xilinx-related innovations are coming, the Instinct MI325X accelerator is coming, but most importantly the classic version of the Turin server platform and the version aimed at data centers will be presented. It is likely that everything will be sharpened for the new generation EPYC series, since this market is of critical importance.
At the beginning of next year, specifically at CES, a more powerful version of Strix Point, called Halo, will arrive alongside the Kraken Point system chip. The latter is a restrained version of the original Strix Point design, using a smaller chip, which includes 8 processor cores instead of 12, as well as half the size of the IGP.
