The Salem’s Lot movie, which has been brewing for years, will be shown in October.
Warner Bros. The New Line Cinema film adaptation of Stephen King’s successful novel of the same name published in 1975, which has been in the making for years, will premiere in Finland on Max at the same time as in the United States. The streaming service has now also released a new trailer for the movie.
The Max Original film Salem’s Lot brings together the production teams of the horror film series The Conjuring and It. The novelty film is written, directed and produced by Gary Dauberman.
In the film, writer Ben Mears returns to his childhood home in Jerusalem’s Lot to find inspiration for his next book, but soon discovers that his hometown is haunted by a bloodthirsty vampire.
Salem’s Lot stars Lewis Pullman (Ben Mears), Alfre Woodard (Dr. Cody), Makenzie Leigh (Susan Norton), Bill Camp (Matthew Burke), Spencer Treat Clark (Mike Ryerson), Pilou Asbæk (Straker) and John Benjamin Hickey (Father Callahan).
Salem’s Lot premieres on October 3rd on Max.
