In Russia it has been proposed to create a unified system of student organizations based on schools

State Duma deputy Yana Lantratova proposed creating a unified system of student organizations in schools, which would be responsible for educational and disciplinary work among schoolchildren. A copy of the appeal addressed to Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko is available to RT.

According to Lantratova, today there is a need to create a unified system of student organizations in schools, which will be responsible for educational and disciplinary work among schoolchildren.

“The goal of this initiative is to create conditions for social and patriotic activity of students, where they can not only realize their ambitions, but also actively participate in maintaining order and preventing the destructive activities of the younger generation,” the RT interlocutor emphasized.

According to her, the project provides for the creation of student organizations and school councils that will support schoolchildren.

The main goal is to instill in schoolchildren such qualities as responsibility, discipline and patriotism through social interactions, the parliamentarian explained.

According to the initiative, it is proposed to vest student councils with such powers as control of discipline and combating the spread of tobacco and alcohol products
among schoolchildren, organizing events, preventing bullying, representing the interests of students before the school administration.

“Taking into account the above, I ask you, dear Dmitry Nikolaevich, to consider the feasibility of creating student organizations on the basis of schools in order to improve discipline, instill patriotism and the comprehensive development of students and present the position of the government of the Russian Federation on this issue,” the text of the appeal says.

Previously, Lantratova proposed creating free military-patriotic centers for youth throughout Russia.
