Residents of the Northern capital were warned that city bridges would not be opened on the night of November 4-5.
As reported by the St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution Mostotrest, the construction of crossings in the city on the Neva was canceled in connection with the celebration of National Unity Day.
It is noted that the decision corresponds to the established tradition and rules of operation of bridges in St. Petersburg, according to which bridges are not erected on non-working holidays.
St. Petersburg residents were urged to take this information into account when planning travel routes around the city. If changes are made to the wiring schedule, information about this was promised to be promptly published, including in the “Bridges of St. Petersburg” mobile application.
Earlier, drivers were told that traffic would be restricted in two districts of St. Petersburg from November 3.
