The government of the Northern capital has approved a land surveying project for the construction of an interchange for the Latitudinal High-Speed Highway (SHMSD) on the right bank of the Neva River.
The interchange will be built at the intersection with Soyuzny Avenue and Energetikov Avenue, according to a decree published by Smolny.
As part of the project in St. Petersburg, it is planned to build a highway from Kollontai Street to the Bolshaya Okhta River, as well as lay an overpass across the railway.
In the appendix to the document, officials provided a list of plots that are supposed to be seized for construction.
Let us remind you that the construction of the Latitudinal Expressway, which will connect the WHSD with the Ring Road and the highways of the Leningrad region, will take place in six stages. The length of the six-lane highway will be 2.6 km. Permitted speed is 110 km/h. In 2025, 26 billion rubles will be allocated for the construction of the Latitudinal Highway.
