Annual Indoor Sports Competition of TV Camera Journalists Association (TCJA), Chittagong has started.
On Monday (November 11) evening, the Nationalist Chittagong Metropolitan BNP convenor Ershad Ullah of this competition.
The event was presided over by Shafiq Ahmed Sajib, president of the association, at the TCJA auditorium located on Noor Ahmad Road in the city. Nixons Builders and Technologies Proprietor Mohammad Wasi Uddin Ansari, Metropolitan BNP Joint Convener Kazi Belal Uddin, Shaukat Azam Khawaja, Shihab Uddin Mubin, Member Zafar Ahmad were the special guests. Mohammad Ali Akbar, vice president of the association and convenor of the sports competition organizing committee, delivered the welcome address.
Ershad Ullah said on the occasion that the role of sports in improving the mental health of professionals, especially photojournalists working in the media, is great. Also such arrangements should be made regularly to establish harmony and camaraderie among colleagues. There is no alternative to sports to maintain a healthy body and a fresh mind.
Under the direction of TCJA executive committee associate general secretary Mohammad Alamgir, the association’s former president Enamul Haque, general secretary Ashraful Alam Chowdhury Mamun, former general secretary Dipankar Das Babu and Md. Farid Uddin
TCJA Finance Secretary Md. was also present. Zahirul Islam, organizing secretary Vasudev, office secretary Md. Parvez Rahman and executive member Noor Haseeb Ifraz.
