(Incheon = Newsis) Reporter Ham Sang-hwan = Incheon City announced on the 27th that it recently held the ‘2024 Beautiful Companion Performance Report and Donation Delivery Ceremony’ in the conference room on the 2nd floor of Incheon City Hall.

This event was hosted by the Incheon City Vision Enterprise Association, and about 150 people, including officials from related organizations such as Incheon City and the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education, and members of the association’s member companies, attended.

The event included a report on the social contribution performance promoted by the association in 2024, a donation delivery ceremony, and an award ceremony for excellent companies.

‘Beautiful Companionship’ is a social contribution activity in which the association’s member companies come together to help underprivileged neighbors in the community and fulfill corporate social responsibility.

In addition, since its launch in 2012, it has continuously contributed by delivering goods and donations worth a total of 2.77 billion won to the local community.

This year, donations and goods worth approximately 480 million won were prepared, and will be delivered to places in need of support, such as senior centers, children’s foundations, volunteer organizations, and protective facilities.

Sangdam Han, President of the Incheon City Vision Business Association, said, “I am deeply grateful to the member companies that participated in sharing even in a difficult business environment and to the city of Incheon for cooperating to ensure that donations were used appropriately where they were needed.” He added, “We will continue to share and serve our neighbors who are in the blind spot of welfare in the future.” “We will put this into practice,” he said.

Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok said, “I am grateful to the Incheon City Vision Enterprise Association and its member companies for practicing noblesse oblige and sharing as an example to the local community even under difficult conditions.” He added, “Incheon City will also do its best to provide policy support to further spread this sharing culture.” “I will do my best,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Incheon City Vision Business Association is an economics organization comprised of vision companies and mid-sized growth ladder companies selected by Incheon City.

After being established as a non-profit corporation in 2012, it was designated as a public interest corporation (designated donation organization) in 2014 and has been actively engaging in management and technology exchanges and social contribution activities.
