It is a phone for less demanding users, which has many shortcomings compared to high-end mobiles, and definitely you it does not impress with any bloated features. But still it can serve very well.
It could be the first phone for your child or a suitable mobile phone for the elderly. With a price tag that’s supposed to move under 2,000 CZKthis is a very affordable model that will please the more modest person a lot and can serve well.
It has IPS LCD display with a diagonal of 6.71″. Its resolution is smaller than that of better mobile phones – only 1650 × 720. The display also has a relatively low brightness, just 500 rivetsso there may already be a problem with readability outside in the sun. You may also be surprised by the relatively wide frames, which go against the current trend of thinning and thus significantly reduce the display. On the other hand, thanks to them, the mobile phone is held better. And the display itself is protected by tempered glass Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Poco C61 is available in 3 versions
The dimensions of the Poco C61 are 168.4 x 76.3 x 8.3 millimeters and it is available in 3 variants, which are significantly different from each other. Inside this news we find a graphic PowerVR GE8320 a processor MediaTek Helio G36 with 4 more powerful and 4 more economical Cortex-A53 cores, the speed of which is a maximum of 2.2 GHz. Therefore, do not expect any excessive performance from it or that it will launch the most modern games. The Poco C61 is very low-key in this respect and has no ambitions to compete with flagship phones equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or Dimesity 9000 processors.
The Poco C61 has a number of weaknesses
Even its camera won’t bring you to your knees – the main camera only offers 8 Mpxthe front has only 5 Mpx. Both can not only take photos, but also record videos, the maximum resolution of which is only 1920 × 1080. And it only has 1 speaker.
The fact that the Poco C61 does not support 5G networks and communicates at most with Wi-Fi 5. You won’t even wait NFCso you can only dream about paying by mobile. And it won’t work in a smart home either, because it lacks an infrared port.
All variants have a capacity battery 5 000 mAhbut does not support wireless charging. It is charged with a cable with maximum power 10 Wso you can get it from 0 to 100% in an endless 2.5 hours.
Poco C61 will offer a 3.5 mm jack
In addition to color versions, it will also be sold in two variants – with operational and internal memory 3GB/64GB or 4GB/128GB. If this is not enough, it is possible to insert a memory card into it microSD card up to 1 T in size.
But what will certainly please lovers of headphones with a cable is the port for 3,5 mm jack. And after connecting headphones, it also supports reception FM radio.
In the end, it is similar to the better-known Redmi A3, which is also one of the cheapest phones on the market and you can buy it in the Czech Republic for less than 2,000 CZK. You can’t get the Poco C61 in the Czech Republic yet, but it’s probably only a matter of time. Xiaomi is releasing it to the world and it will probably soon arrive here too – according to assumptions, it should be similar to the Redmi A3.
