The IT service system at the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM) was down again this Wednesday for three hours. It is the second problem of its kind in the space of two weeks.
During this period, technicians from the Urgent Patient Guidance Centers (CODU) provided assistance manually to avoid failures in assistance.
The failure occurred between 4pm and 7pm, he told the newspaper Public the president of the Union of Pre-Hospital Emergency Technicians.
“They are the result of the divestment of the previous INEM board of directors. It was eight years without there being a single investment”, laments Rui Lázaro.
On November 14th, the INEM service had also suffered a computer system failure.
The causes are being investigated.
