Annual inflation in the European Union in June was 2.6%, while in Estonia this figure was 2.8%, writes rus.err citing Eurostat data.
The lowest annual rates were recorded in Finland (0.5%), Italy (0.9%) and Lithuania (1.0%).
The highest annual inflation rates were recorded in Belgium (5.4%), Romania (5.3%), Spain and Hungary (both 3.6%), followed by Croatia (3.5%), the Netherlands (3.4%), Portugal and Austria (both 3.1%), Cyprus (3%), Poland (2.9%), Luxembourg, Estonia and Bulgaria (both 2.8%).
The annual inflation rate in the euro area in June 2024 was 2.4%, down 0.1 percentage point from May. In the EU, annual inflation in June 2024 was also 0.1 percentage point lower than in May.
