Infographic: Entrepreneurs in the energy sector can still benefit from cybersecurity subsidies

Many small companies in the industrial and energy sectors have not yet taken enough measures to ensure their cyber security. This is evident from data from the Digital Trust Center (DTC), part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. For this reason, the ‘My Cyber-resilient Business’ subsidy was started last month. This subsidy offers small companies the opportunity to increase their digital resilience with financial support.

Small companies, self-employed persons and SMEs, in the industry and energy sector can still make a lot of profit in specific areas such as two-step login, email security and other essential measures. This is evident from the DTC’s CyberSafe Check. These basic measures are critical to reducing the risk of cyber attacks. Every year, thousands of companies – both large and small – are victims of a cyber attack.
