Infographic: Strong growth in the use of digital communication service BeterDichtbij

Good care is not possible without good communication. Based on that vision, BeterDichtbij, as an initiative of the healthcare sector, has grown rapidly. 1 million people in the Netherlands already use the communication service for easy contact with their healthcare providers.

The time when BeterDichtbij was only used for patient questions and as a replacement for the telephone is over. The communication service is now used throughout the care pathway, with automatic messages, for appointment reminders or other notifications and to share reliable information.
