If the proposals are accepted, they may come into force as early as January 1, 2025, TASS writes.
Currently, the register of 470 companies displays the full and abbreviated name of the provider, address, INN, OGRN, legal form and contact person. A draft government decree on the need to replenish these data with new information has been published on portal regulatory legal acts.
The explanatory note states that it is important to “supplement the list of provided data with information about the performance and computing power of the hosting provider’s infrastructure” and “information about the persons to whom the computing power is provided.”
Officially, the goal of these innovations is to “increase the efficiency of the implementation of Roskomnadzor’s powers to implement centralized management of the public communications network.”
