Inje Academy has been recognized for its contribution to the development of surgery by holding the ‘Inje Paik Memorial Lecture’ through consistent sponsorship of the Korean Surgical Society for the past 10 years.
Inje Academy held the ‘Baek In-je Memorial Lecture’ with the Korean Surgical Society in 2015 to commemorate Dr. Baek In-je, the founder of Paik Hospital, who founded the Korean Surgical Society in 1947 and served as its first and second and third presidents, and to contribute to the development of surgery. The ‘Baek In-je Memorial Lecture’, which invites renowned domestic and foreign medical scholars, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
