The innovation center Innoka, operating in Uuemõisa, started operations on Friday in the Silma workshop, which was empty in October, and now wants to increase the proportion of natural education.
On Friday, nearly half a hundred children and parents had come to the Silma workshop to find out what the innovation center’s plans are for the Silma workshop in Innoka, and to participate in the workshops on the opening day.
Pille Alekand, who guides the eager chemists, showed on the veranda of the workshop how to create smoke with dry ice without having to set anything on fire. He had the help of young chemists Liisbet and Teresa, only studying in the 1st grade. Although the girls don’t study chemistry at school yet, they say chemistry is exciting. “The most intense are the chemistry experiments,” they affirmed in unison.
