The latest rumors surrounding Intel’s Xe2-based graphics chips, Battlemage, point to the company unveiling the graphics cards during an event in December. The data comes from that Japanese forum Gazlog and is consistent with previous rumors of a December launch.
Intel appears to be aiming to release Battlemage ahead of AMD and Nvidia, both of which are expected to launch new graphics card series early next year. In terms of performance, Battlemage is believed to be in the middle segment, where they will compete with AMD’s RDNA 4-based cards.
As usual, rumors should be taken with a grain of salt. If Intel plans to show off the cards, the company should start communicating it soon. The latest leak does not mention a launch date. According to Toms Hardware can we expect the cards to launch either in conjunction with the event.
