Intelligence report: the deployment of North Korean soldiers will have serious consequences

Based on various data, around 8,000 to 12,000 North Korean soldiers may have arrived to help Russia. According to Ukrainian intelligence, the first soldiers appeared in the Kursk region at the end of October. In addition to the conscripts, around 500 officers and three generals also arrived from the isolated dictatorship.

North Korean soldiers are usually trained to fight in mountainous terrain, which means they are unfamiliar with Ukrainian territory, its climate and geography

– said Kiviselg. He added that the retraining of soldiers in Russia may be of a low standard.

Therefore, we can expect that North Korean units will suffer heavy losses in Ukraine, and probably even more than the forces of the Russian Federation have suffered so far.

The head of intelligence also said that before appearing on the front, the North Korean units took part in a maximum of two to four weeks of training. The colonel also added that the continuous arrival of soldiers could nevertheless bring changes on the front line.
