Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be positioned as Xiaomi’s best camera smartphone for photography enthusiasts next year. The quad camera includes a 50MP main sensor with 23mm focal length and f/1.6 aperture, a 50MP ISOCELL JN5 sensor for ultra-wide shots, a 50MP periscope lens with 3x zoom, and a rugged 200MP sensor with 4.3x optical zoom and 100mm focal length. It will have a camera setup.
Previous leaks last month showed a prominent camera bump to house these lenses, but a new image circulating on Weibo now provides a clearer view of the impressive interior design of these camera sensors inside the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
The long lens above the camera module is a periscope lens with a resolution of 200 MP and a focal length of 100 mm. There’s a secondary IMX858 telephoto sensor underneath, while the main and ultra-wide cameras are aligned to its left and right, respectively.
The phone also sports a noticeably thick middle frame along with a visible wireless charging coil confirming wireless charging support.
Expected Features of Xiaomi 15 Ultra
Xiaomi 15 Ultra is also said to feature a 6.7-inch, 120Hz LTPO OLED display with micro-curved edges.
The 15 Ultra is said to come in three materials, smooth leather, fiberglass or ceramic, offering a variety of options to suit different preferences and styles.
The phone will most likely use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It may also carry a 6000mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 80W wireless charging. On the software side, it is expected to run Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 out of the box.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra could launch in China in early 2025, with a global launch likely at the 2025 Mobile World Congress (MWC).
