On the occasion of the inauguration of the new Ikea flagship in Paris on September 12, Intersport decided to give a little nod in its new campaign to its new neighbor in the Italie 2 shopping center.
On September 12, The Ikea brand has opened its new Parisian flagship storelocated in the Italie 2 shopping center in the 13th arrondissement. The Swedish giant created the event with a lot of campaigns and games to ensure the success of this opening. On this occasion, Intersport, which has a store in the same center, decided to give a welcome wink to its new neighbor (and to the center’s customers at the same time).
A campaign under the sign of complementarity
More accustomed to seeing brands engage in a war through advertising, like McDonald’s Vs Burger King or even Pepsi Vs Coca-Colathis time, it is a little bit of kindness that we discover in this Intersport campaign which really puts Ikea forward.
For the latter, a series of 3 visuals developed by Score DDB welcomes Ikea by showcasing the famous products “PAX”, “KALLAX”, “BRIMNES”. The posters refer with humor and kindness to the iconic furniture of the Swedish brand and how Interport could be a good destination to store your sports clothes.
