Investor in Belgrade on the water THRILLED by investing in Croatia
The founder and president of the Eagle Hills Group, Mohamed Alabar, expressed confidence in the Croatian economy and in the continued development of the country, especially within the tourism sector, and announced his readiness for further investments.
The Eagle Hills company is already present in the tourism sector in Croatia, it is the owner of the hotel group Bluesun, and the last major investment concerns the takeover of the hotel company Sunčani Hvar, which Alabar pointed out is one of the largest investments in the region.
At the moment, the procedure at the Agency for the Protection of Competition is ongoing, and the subject is the request for the merger of the companies Eagle Hills, Sunčani Hvar and Sunčani Hvar real estate.
Alabar emphasized that Eagle Hills has unquestionable confidence in this process and in the prospective future of the Croatian hotel sector, and he also expressed his personal optimism regarding Croatia’s economic perspective and successful tourism future.
“We look forward to cooperation on future investments in the growing Croatian tourism sector and will continue to explore opportunities for investments in other sectors.”
Hvar is the flagship of Croatian tourism and one of the most beautiful islands in the world, said Alabar.
According to earlier information, Sunčani Hvar was sold to an Arab investor for 220 million euros.
