INZONE M10S, developed together with the Fnatic eSports team, and INZONE M9 II, new gaming monitors from Sony

Sony expands its range of Inzone gaming equipment and launches the INZONE M10S – a 27-inch OLED gaming monitor that comes with a 480Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time and QHD resolution. Developed together with the famous eSports team Fnatic, the INZONE M10S model is designed to brilliantly cope with gaming tournaments at the highest level.

Sony is also introducing the INZONE M9 II – a new version of the 4K HDR gaming monitor with backlight scanning to improve clarity in on-screen movement.

INZONE M10S

An ultra-fast refresh rate of up to 480Hz and response time of 0.03ms (milliseconds) eliminates motion blur and provides the sharpest image possible at QHD 1440p resolution, so users can quickly and accurately track other game participants .

Unique self-illuminating OLED pixels react faster than LCD panels, providing accurate response, even in motion, that LCD screens can’t match. In addition, the QHD standard transmits about 1.8 times the resolution of FullHD, which means that users benefit from richer visual information.

Ready for the tournament

Working closely with professional gamers in the Fnatic organization, the INZONE M10S monitor combines Sony’s experience in creating premium displays with the expertise and knowledge of professional gamers. The INZONE M10S has been designed to offer superior image quality, ergonomics and performance enhancements to create the ultimate touring monitor.

The INZONE M10S monitor features a 24.5-inch mode, displaying games at a 1:1 resolution of 1332p with a refresh rate of up to 480Hz. Gamers can also select lower resolutions, including 1080p, ideal for eSports and gaming users familiar with 24.5-inch 1080p monitors. The screen position can be centered or aligned at the bottom, with a perfectly black border area that enhances focus.

In addition, there are two new unique image modes dedicated to FPS (first person shooter) games to help identify opponents faster with a sharper image and greater clarity of movements. FPS Pro+ mode has been carefully optimized together with Fnatic’s Valorant team and maximizes in-game performance by further optimizing image clarity, leveraging the unparalleled response times and contrast unique to OLED. FPS Pro mode boosts the image characteristics of TN panel LCD monitors typically used in professional gaming tournaments.

Optimized design for gaming experiences

Designed in collaboration with Fnatic, the monitor’s compact base, with a diameter of 159mm and a distinctive 4mm thin flat base, ensures player comfort while maximizing desk space for a range of keyboard and mouse configurations. The INZONE M10S monitor allows gamers to position an inclined keyboard and large mouse pad around or under the screen.

Qualitative image

With the INZONE M10S, colors in the gaming world are vivid and blacks are deep, with a wide DCI-P3 98.5% color gamut and 10-bit fine gradation. In addition, the monitor benefits from a maximum brightness of 1300 nits, thanks to Micro Lens Array+ technology, as well as DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.

Designed together with Fnatic

Sony’s collaboration with Fnatic has continued to evolve since its inception in 2023, resulting in the INZONE M10S, a gaming monitor designed for pros and future pros. The development process involved ideation sessions and playtesting in various locations.

The fact that we were able to work on a product together with Sony from the very beginning is an important thing. I can’t wait to play it. I’m a big fan of FPS Pro+ because it allows me to see agents more clearly than I could do manually.

I worked on the development of the INZONE M10S and I’m glad I had an impact to help improve the products. An OLED monitor is the best solution for me, with zero response time and very good color gamut, it gives me no excuse for poor performance! This is the pinnacle of gaming monitors.
