iOS 18.2 could officially arrive on December 9

A few days ago Apple continued with its established plan and launched the third beta for developers of iOS 18.2, the next big update of the Big Apple software. This update will include new Apple Intelligence features such as integration with ChatGPT, Visual Intelligence or Genmoji. All these new features will reach more countries, but it will not be until April when they will reach more countries (including Spain). Although it is not official, Everything seems to indicate that iOS 18.2 will be released on December 9 worldwide, a date that fits with the timing from Apple for its next updates.

December 9: Possible iOS 18.2 release date

Apple already confirmed that iOS 18.2 would arrive in December. However, he did not confirm when nor does he intend to do so. But sometimes there are external elements, beyond Apple, that have exclusive information. This is what happened a few hours ago with the British operator EE. Normally, when a new version of iOS is released, the operators also modify and release the configurations according to the changes introduced in the new versions. And these updates usually coincide with the release of new versions of iOS.

A few hours ago, the EE operator announced that the “Wi-Fi Calling on other compatible devices connected to iCloud” feature would disappear on December 9. Remember that this function allowed you to make calls when the iPhone was not nearby. As we have mentioned, the configurations of each operator are modified with each major update so it seems that on December 9 we will also have iOS 18.2 among us.

Obviously, EE can remove the feature whenever it wants, but taking into account that last week they released a new configuration version (version 60.5.2) that included these changes in relation to the second beta of iOS 18.2, everything seems to indicate that this will be the date iOS 18.2 is released worldwide.
