Some time ago, information appeared on the Internet that iPhones may have a haptic volume control button.
Ultimately – at least until now – Apple has not decided to implement this solution and still relies on mechanical buttons. Meanwhile, the Apple Demo channel on YouTube has published a recording presenting a prototype of the iPhone 14 Pro with a new button.
There is an inscription engraved on the side of the device RANGER-DROP suggesting that this model was intended for endurance testing. The phone is from 2021.
It is worth recalling that Apple allegedly managed to make the introduction of a new type of button too problematic and too complex at the moment. Perhaps the company will come back to this idea over time.
