Initially, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max overheated significantly, but this problem was quickly eliminated by Apple thanks to a system update.
Meanwhile, as reported by the editors of The Information portal, the iPhone 17 series are to be equipped with a so-called “larger graphite sheet” inside the housing, which may translate into better coping with overheating.
This information is consistent with reports from last year suggesting that the new models would be equipped with an improved thermal management system.
