An interesting rumor is the arrival of a Slim version, or rather some refer to this version as Air. It is supposed to be the thinnest model in the history of Apple and, like the competing Pixel 9, it is supposed to have cameras located in the window. The iPhone 17 Slim (Air) version is said to replace the Plus variant, which Apple wants to say goodbye to.
Rumors also suggest that the iPhone 17 will bring a better display. The basic model iPhone 16 and its bigger brother iPhone 16 Plus have a display with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. That could change, and the iPhone 17 is expected to offer a 120Hz refresh rate and an LTPO display is also in the works. A higher refresh rate means a smoother display of content, which is convenient for anyone who likes to play games or consume multimedia content, especially videos, on their mobile phones.
All four iPhone 17 models are said to have an improved front-facing camera that can be used to capture selfies or make video calls. The sensor should offer a resolution of 24 Mpx, which practically erases the dividing line between basic and Pro models. As for the new Camera Control button that debuted in iPhones 16, that should remain. However, technical enthusiasts expect that Apple can also come up with some other innovation in this direction, which will make it easier to take pictures or shoot video clips.
