iPhone achieves best Q3 ever

Apple is preparing to present its official third quarter financial results on October 31, but a new report from Canalys indicates that the company has a lot to celebrate. According to the analysis, lhe iPhone sales recorded the best Q3 in the company’s historycoming one step away from overtaking Samsung as the world leader in smartphone sales.

Canalys, known for its reports on global sales of technology devices, highlighted Apple’s stellar performance this quarter. Runar Bjørhovdean analyst at Canalys, said: “Apple achieved its highest sales volume ever in the third quarter and has never been as close to leading the global smartphone market in a Q3 as it is now.”

A key factor in this success has been the continued demand for the series iPhone 15 and previous models. The market trend towards premium devices and the renewal cycle of smartphones purchased during the pandemic have favored Apple, especially in its strongholds such as Nord America and theEuropa.

Overall, global smartphone shipments increased by 5% on an annual basis, but not all producers have benefited equally. Samsung, which still holds first place in global sales, has seen its market share decline.

Last year, in Q3, Samsung had a market share of 21%, while Apple had 17%. This year, both companies came in at 18% share each, with Samsung maintaining only a slight advantage.

Apple’s success has been primarily driven by strong sales of the iPhone 15 and previous models, but the launch of theiPhone 16 and the new system Apple Intelligence could further strengthen its performance in the next quarter.

If Apple Intelligence proves to be a significant driver of iPhone 16 sales, the company could be headed for a particularly impressive holiday quarter.
