Apple is preparing to start 2025 with a series of interesting new features. According to the latest rumors, the long-awaited iPhone SE 4 e iPad 11 they could arrive by April, but not already in January as stated by another leaker yesterday.
Initial speculation suggested that the new devices would be launched alongside software updates iOS 18.3 e iPadOS 18.3but well-known Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman quickly clarified the situation.
In a social media post, Gurman said that while the devices are in development alongside iOS 18.3, this does not imply a simultaneous launch with the software. Rather, Apple aims to release the new iPhone SE and iPad “by April,” and in any case before the arrival of iOS 18.4.
The iPhone SE has always been Apple’s “entry-level” device, combining a familiar design with updated hardware. While no official details are available yet, there are some features expected for the fourth generation:
- Larger display: Possible upgrade from 4.7 inches to a 6.1 inch panel.
- Chip A16 Bionic: the same processor used on the iPhone 14 Pro, guaranteeing high performance.
- Improved camera: A single rear sensor, but with upgrades for better image quality.
- 5G support with Apple modem.
The design could move away from the classic style with a Home button, moving closer to the more modern look of recent iPhones.
