IPMA points to rain from the afternoon onwards

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere predicts periods of very cloudy skies for this Monday, with generally little cloudiness on the coast of the North and Center regions until the end of the morning.

Forecasts also point to rain showers, more frequent from the afternoon onwards, and a small drop in temperature, mainly on the North and Center coast.

The wind should be generally weak from the east quadrant, rotating towards the west quadrant from the afternoon onwards.

Maximum temperatures will range between 16ºC, in Guarda, and 23ºC, in Braga, and minimum temperatures between 7ºC, in Bragança, and 14ºC, in Faro.

The island of Madeira is under yellow warning until 12pm, due to the forecast of heavy showers, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms.
