iQOO in China has launched a new smartwatch called the iQOO Watch GT, which is the second smartwatch under the iQOO brand after the iQOO Watch was released in early 2024. The iQOO Watch GT will be different. The design of the body is square and the dial is square as well. It uses a 1.85-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 450×390 pixels, adjustable brightness up to 600nits, and can automatically adjust the brightness according to the surrounding atmosphere in 256 levels.
In addition, the screen also supports Always On Mode, which works with AI Smart Window, allowing Always On Mode to display important information such as flight schedules, movie times, and medication reminders. These systems are managed by AI and data synced with smartphones.
Talking on the phone through the iQOO Watch GT is possible because it has a built-in microphone and speaker. It also has built-in GPS, allowing it to pinpoint its location accurately without having to connect to a smartphone. The operating system uses BlueOS, which is vivo’s own operating system developed with the vivo app store, allowing you to download additional apps. Meanwhile, there are complete exercise and health modes, along with a battery life of up to 21 days. If eSIM is activated, the system can be used for about 3 to 9 days.
The iQOO Watch GT is currently on sale in China, with only one black color option and a leather or silicone strap. The price starts at 500 yuan, or around 2,500 baht. The final global release will have to wait and see.
