Familiar locations appeared in the promo video of the Cupertino team.
Apple held its annual big event on September 9, where it presented its new products, including the iPhone 16 product line that maximizes AI. Although the devices supported by Apple Intelligence are still far from being able to match the AI solutions of competing manufacturers, the new phones cannot be said to be bad. The good news is that the Hungarian prices have not changed, so you can get the new models for the same price as the members of the 15 series when they were released.
For the unveiling, Apple always makes a short promo video in which it presents the new function of the new mobiles. This year was no different, however, the Hungarian viewers – among them mainly those who live, work or study in Budapest – may have caught the eye of a few unexpected interesting things in the two-minute material.
Looking at the commercial, it quickly becomes clear that the commercial was shot entirely in Budapest, only the highly Americanized, CGI-encrusted sequences of images have transformed the city somewhat.
The short film opens in Astoria, where a young man takes the new device out of his pocket. Thanks to the fast and blurred recordings, it is not always easy to identify the locations, but among others Rákóczi út, II. János Pál Pápa tér, the Hilda restaurant in Nádor utca, Hősök tere and Múzeumkert also appear in the advertisement.
It is interesting that a different version was presented at Monday’s event compared to the version posted on YouTube. The people of Cupertino envisioned and drew with CGI what Rákosrendező could be like with Mini-Dubai, just like the Árpád Bridge, the Duna Arena and the XIII. a giant skyscraper district would rise above district office buildings.
