Alex Proyas, who directed the movie I, Robot, is not happy with the robot model presented by Elon Musk.

According to director Alex Proyas, the new creations presented by Tesla last week are copies of the models seen in the 2004 film I, Robot.

In his X update, Proyas has acknowledged Elon Musk about it and demanded to return I, Robot’s plans to him.

I guess Alex Proyas has been provoked by the fact that Tesla’s new self-driving vehicles Cybercab and Robovan were presented together with the Optimus robot at an event called We, Robot.

The reference to Alex Proyas’ film was obvious.

Proyas is also not the only one who has seen similarities between Tesla’s models and the sci-fi hit starring Will Smith. The subject has been talked about on social media for several days now.

I, Robot can be streamed on Disney+.
