Artificial intelligence, robots and chatbots are starting to have an increasingly difficult say in how the world of today and the world of tomorrow evolves. At the same time, AI is starting to affect the way hiring is done, jobs are obtained or lost. According to Cristian-Andrei Pantir, Head of Marketing Adecco EEMEA, based on the study carried out by Adecco, the most negatively affected by AI are Indian employees, where 37% of them say they have lost their jobs because of this technology . In Romania, the numbers look better and only 10% of Romanian employees say they have lost their jobs due to artificial intelligence.



“According to our study, the perception of people, of employees who agree with the phrase that> in Romania it is very small, it is 10%. If we look at India, which was also the country that used AI the most, this perception appears much more pronounced, somewhere at 37%. It also depends a lot on the way employers prepare their people,” said Cristian Andrei-Pantir, Head of Marketing at the recruitment company Adecco EEMEA, at ZF Live.

According to Cristian-Andrei Panţir, AI is a reality, and for many industries the technology is considered a real revolution, just as the emergence of the Internet was. Employers with AI tools are now thinking twice before hiring people for a position where their work can be done by artificial intelligence.

“AI is already a reality. For many industries it is a revolution, similar to the invention of the Internet, we are still at the beginning, but the impact is already beginning to be seen in the strategy of employers to outline or not their future functions in departments. If I already have a set of tools that can create the value of two-three people, then I won’t hire 2-3 people”, Panţir also said at ZF Live, a show made with the support of Orange Business.
