- Oscal Elite 1 may be the best Android tablet under 5,000 CZK
- It has a large display, a solid processor, a large battery and a stylus in the package
- It competes with the OnePlus Pad Go, which can be a safe bet
On Wednesday, we informed you about a great discount on the OnePlus Pad Go tablet, which brought its price down below for the first time in history limit of CZK 5,000. As part of Black Friday cheapened and his relatively unknown, yet very ambitious competitor. It is slightly more expensive and offers better equipment in many respects. Moreover, comes with a stylus.
It’s a tablet Oscal Elite 1. If you’ve never heard of him before, we’re definitely not going to look down on you. His is roughly similarly unknown Doke OS 4.0 superstructurewhich uses Android 14. Although few of you have probably come across it, it offers a handful of nifty features, such as the ability to split the screen to facilitate multitasking.

When we then focus on the specifications, the dominant feature of the Oscal Elite 1 tablet is its 12.1″ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. The screen is thus slightly larger than the OnePlus Pad Go, and it also offers up to 600 nits peak brightness (the green tablet, meanwhile, works with a maximum of 400 nits). However, where the silent “elite” power loses is the refresh rate. If the Oscal Elite 1 had at least 90 Hz instead of 60 Hz, it would be hard to fault it.
When we focus on performance, with the chipset MediaTek Helio G99 both devices should be similar. However, the Oscal Elite 1 comes with 256GB of storage at the base, while the OnePlus Pad Go only has half of that, and also packs a bigger battery 8 800 mAh (instead of just 8000 mAh). Both devices can be charged until 33 W.
Oscal Elite 1 can also do more please with your cameras. I am of course well aware that they are more for decoration on tablets, but still, in certain cases, the higher resolution of 12 Mpx (rear) and 13 Mpx (front) can please more than 8 Mpx on both sensors.
All in all, the Oscal Elite 1 se it will probably cost a bit more than the OnePlus Pad Go. It costs basically the same, has a stylus in the package, offers a bigger and brighter display or higher battery capacity and comes with a newer Android. On the other hand, it only works with a 60Hz refresh rate, which is a sin these days.

The question also remains how the Oscal Elite 1 will fare with software support in the future. In this respect we see the OnePlus Pad Go with the OxygenOS superstructure as a safe bet.
