Israel: Four soldiers killed by Hezbollah drone attack

Four Israeli soldiers were killed and 51 wounded, including seven seriously, during a drone attack launched by Hezbollah on Sunday night against a military base in Binyamina, northern Israel, according to a statement from the Israeli Armed Forces (IDF).

Most of the injured were taken to a medical center in Hadera and others to hospitals in nearby areas such as Haifa.

Hezbollah said in its statement that it launched an attack with a “swarm of drones” against the Golani Brigade camp in the northern Israeli city of Binyamina.

He dedicated this attack to its former leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed on September 27 in an Israeli strike in Beirut.

The Israeli military has not yet provided further details.

Hezbollah claims it ambushed Israeli soldiers

Hezbollah said today that its fighters ambushed Israeli soldiers and fought “at close range” with the Israeli army in southern Lebanon.

In a statement, Hezbollah said its fighters “ambushed an Israeli force” attempting to infiltrate the outskirts of Ma’is al-Jabal and the battle took place “at close range”.

The Israeli army today spoke of “hand-to-hand fighting” and “wounded soldiers” in its ranks.
