Israel once again attacked Lebanon!

The Israeli army said in a statement that attacks were carried out against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon.

Lebanese sources and social media users shared images of explosions from airstrikes by Israeli warplanes on mountainous areas and valleys near settlements in southern Lebanon and around the Litani River.

Sirens also sounded in areas of northern Israel in the evening.

50 airstrikes in 40 minutes

On the other hand, according to the news in Lebanon’s official news agency NNA, Israeli warplanes carried out more than 50 airstrikes on towns in the south of the country in 40 minutes.

The attacks mostly targeted hills, valleys and riverbeds, and many points were targeted, such as the Rumin Valley in the south, the Deir ez-Zahrani region, the outskirts of the towns of Al-Luwayza, Melih, Barti, Kafer Melki, Bel al-Reyhan, the forested area between the towns of Izza and Deir ez-Zahrani, and the town of Basalya in the Et-Tuffah region.

Israeli army prepares to ‘expand clashes’

On the other hand, it was reported that the commander of the Israeli Army Northern Command, Major General Ori Gordin, held an evaluation meeting with the commanders of the units deployed in northern Israel.

The army said in a statement that commanders affiliated with the northern command were “conducting situation assessments as part of preparations for expanding the conflict in the region.”

Another statement from the Israeli army included the words of Israeli Air Force Commander Tomer Bar, who said that “the air force is on the highest possible alert level.”

76 people lost their lives

In the Israeli attack on Beirut yesterday, 15 Hezbollah members were killed, including one of Hezbollah’s top military commanders, Ibrahim Akil, and one of the former commanders of the “Rıdvan Force”, Ahmed Mahmoud Vehbi.

Lebanese Health Minister Firas al-Abyad stated in a press conference that the death toll in the airstrike had risen to 37, including 3 children and 7 women, and 68 people were injured.

Ebyad said the total number of people killed in yesterday’s attacks, including the explosion of pagers and radios, had risen to 76.
