Israel’s military is preparing a response against Hezbollah after a rocket fired from Lebanon killed 10 people, including children, at a soccer field in the Golan Heights, military spokesman Daniel Hagari said.

“Our intelligence is clear. “Hezbollah is responsible for killing innocent children, teenagers,” Hagari said.

The spokesman of the Israeli army stated that, according to the first results of the investigation, air raid sirens sounded in the city of Majdal Shams on the Golan Heights, “but that it was an immediate warning and that it was too short.” He added that Hezbollah is telling lies by denies involvement in the incident, reports Reuters.

The number of people killed in today’s rocket attack by the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah on Majdal Shams on the Golan Heights has increased to 10, and most of the dead are children, the Israeli emergency services said.

The announcement states that more than a dozen people were wounded, including six who are in a serious condition, while three are in a medium condition, and four are slightly injured, The Times of Israel reported.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said today that the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah crossed all “red lines” after today’s attack on Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights and that Israel will respond.

Katz told Channel 12 that Israel is facing an all-out war. Following the Hezbollah rocket attack on Majdal Shams, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant discussed the assessment of the situation with Israeli Army Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi and other senior defense officials, Galant’s office said.

Senior Hezbollah official Mohamed Afif told Reuters the group was not responsible for today’s attack on Majdal Shams in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
