Isuzu Announces Poster Design Winners, Kebumen Students Win

DAPURPACUID – PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) announced a poster design competition with the theme ’50 Years of #IsuzuTerusMenemani’, specifically for junior high school and equivalent, senior high school/vocational high school students throughout Indonesia.

This contest, which has been running since June 2024, is part of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) program of the Isuzu Supply Chain Partner (ISCP) activities.

ISCP itself is an association of PT IAMI’s supplier companies in Indonesia. The announcement of the winners was held at the Isuzu booth at the 2024 GIIAS event, Friday (26/7).

Chairman of ISCP PT IAMI, Gagat Prijawan said, the aim of this program is to increase students’ creativity and community awareness of sustainable development.

“Including improving Isuzu’s brand image since adolescence, so that Isuzu can later become the Top of Mind Awareness (TOMA) of Commercial Vehicles in Indonesia,” said Gagat.

The purpose of establishing ISCP, he continued, is to support and actively contribute to realizing the vision and mission, as well as guarantee and strengthen the component supply chain to IAMI, so that sales of the Isuzu product line are guaranteed to run smoothly with high quality assurance.

“In addition, it is also to maintain harmonious relations between suppliers and IAMI and between fellow IAMI suppliers who are members of ISCP,” Gagat explained further.

The ISCP 2024 poster design competition is divided into two categories, namely for junior high school students and high school/vocational school students.

After going through various assessments from the jury, Adam Bakhtiar was chosen as the winner, while the junior high school category was won by Hilmi Susilo.

This student from MAN 2 Kebumen, Central Java, said that through the poster that describes a journey and the important role of Isuzu in society and Isuzu’s success in becoming a community partner to achieve success.

“Thank you to Isuzu because the design I made was chosen as the winner. Of course this is the best result I have given to Isuzu,” explained Adam.

Meanwhile, Hilmi, who comes from SMPN 30 Jakarta, admitted that he succeeded in becoming the champion in the SMP category with the concept of the Isuzu Elf vehicle as the mainstay vehicle of the Indonesian people.

“I also express my gratitude to Isuzu for this opportunity. I also hope that Isuzu can continue to innovate and always be present in the Indonesian community,” he said.

“ISCP congratulates the younger siblings, the winners, and for those who have not won, do not be discouraged. Follow the next event competition which is no less interesting,” concluded Gagat. (dpid/DB)
