More than 600 Hungarian doctors obtained their degrees this summer, and recently nearly 1,300 students began their studies at the country’s four medical universities. Medical education continues to be popular in Hungary, ranking 10th on the popularity list. How many of the current students will specialize in treating children also depends on how attractive and valued the field is. The K&H Future Healer Award therefore recognizes pediatric specialists and general practitioners under the age of 40 who care for children from the heart and are open to innovative medical procedures.
