It was a challenge to adjust to the name of Red Bull’s branch team in this year’s Formula 1 season. Racing Bulls, RB, VCARB, Visa Cash App Racing Bulls – we have been able to meet all these variations since it was revealed that Red Bull will cut short the participation of its fashion brand, AlphaTauri, in the king category.
The abbreviation RB only added fuel to the fire, as it was not clear in every context which team it was. Nevertheless, the Faenza stable, which is located there, has caused confusion not only among fans, but also in professional circles, which is still called Toro Rosso for the sake of simplicity. It seems that we don’t even have to get used to the names that are cheesy, visa-free, or visa-free in the long run, because by 2025 there will be another twist in the story.

Peter Bayer, CEO of RB (VCARB), spoke about the future plans to the Austrian Servus TV in the paddock in Brazil, although he did it all to the point, as if it had always been clear: “Racing Bulls and Visa Cash App Racing Bulls. In fact, nothing will change,” he asserted. “The only question all year was what the RB meant. We now make it official that RB stands for Racing Bulls.”
However, because of the rules, the new name change seems simple at first. Although the name Racing Bulls will indeed appear on the next entry list of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), it does not mean that the entire identity of the team will be transformed, especially with regard to the name of the car. The 2024 model was named VCARB01, so it may happen that next year the team will start under the name Racing Bulls, but the new chassis will be called VCARB02, just as no drastic changes are expected in the visual elements, including the logo.
