The win was achieved thanks to the six numbers from the draw on Friday 27 December: 3, 7, 37, 49, 55 and 6. The first prize of the famous American lottery had not been hit since 10 September.

So far, the highest win in lottery history is the $2.04 billion win in 2022 from the Powerball contest. In Europe, the ranking is dominated by the 371 million euros won in 2023 in Italy with Superenalotto, followed by the 230 million won in 2022 in the United Kingdom with Euromillions.
