Waiting for the good? Apple already offers its Maps on the web. So far only in beta version and with limited functionality, with which it does not even come close to competing Google Maps.

Apple has also made its Maps available in a web version.
If you own an iPhone, the Maps application is automatically installed on your mobile phone. However, many users prefer to download Google Maps to their mobile instead, which offer a few extra functions and are also available on the web. In some cases, searching for places via a web browser on a computer is more comfortable and clearer. Apple only understood this after 12 years. The company started beta version of the web version of your Maps.
Maps from Apple they have several limitations and in many respects they lag behind the competition. In the beta version, for example, they can only be used in Safari, Chrome and Edge browsers. They still don’t work on other browsers, including Firefox and Opera. And while Apple is vehemently trying to make its Maps a full-fledged alternative to Google Maps, it lacks newer aerial imagery and more locations with detailed panoramic views. Although Apple Maps supports route planning using mass transit, Google Maps offers a wider variety of options and means of transportation in more cities around the world. And there are many more similar functionalities in which Apple pulls the short end of the stick.
The disadvantage of the beta version of Apple Maps is also the inability to log into your account, create lists of places to visit and share them across devices. Apple promises that this will change with the arrival of the official version. But when that will happen is unknown.
