Some Steam users may have experienced a real shock when they entered the store. The creators of one of the games raised its price by 80%.
7 Days to Die Leaves Early Access After 11 Years
The situation on Steam is funny because among the most popular titles are productions that try to stand out on the popularity of others. It was similar with 7 Days to Die at one time. At first, it was a hybrid combining an open world full of Zombies with Minecraft. Building, crafting, a world made of cubic elements and running undead, all of this was found in the aforementioned title.
7 Days to Die has earned the status of “Eternal Early Access” among me and my friends. Despite being 11 years old, the game was still somewhat stagnant. Sure, the creators would occasionally throw in some updates, but there was no sign of anything serious ever happening with it. Only recently have the creators started to be more active on social media, giving the fans gathered around the game some hope.
Ambitious development plans were presented until the end of 2025. You can see the graphics provided by the creators below:
Yesterday, the official debut of 7 Days to Die took place in its full version. July 25, 2024 turned out to be a key date for both developers and fans. In part, this is proof that the creators really intend to achieve the goals they set for themselves. Expectations are high, and the production enjoys great interest every day. At the time of writing, 96,000 people played it simultaneously in 24 hours.
Leaving Early Access unfortunately means a price increase. Just a moment ago, 7 Days to Die cost $24.99, and now this amount has increased by 80 percent, or to $44.99. Because Steam has not updated the Polish currency, we will have to pay even more. The current price of the game is PLN 208.49, before the full version was released it was PLN 89.99.
